The proteins which are essential for all major body functions are comprised of individual amino acids which serve as the ‘building blocks’ of the various proteins. The proteins in the body are synthesized from a specific pattern of amino acids, and many of these cannot be synthesized readily in the body. If such an essential amino acid is not supplied adequately in the diet, protein synthesis is arrested and growth or production is reduced. Therefore, it is economically advantageous to feed excess essential amino acids to prevent a loss in production.

AMINODOR is intended for addition to drinking water of chicken, turkeys and other farm animals during periods of growth retardation due to low feed intake. It is also recommended in cases of low levels of essential amino acids in the feed mixture.
